WHY AMANIGARDENS WAS CREATED

—A Place Where Elders Belong
AmaniGardens Community Network was created in response to the growing need for culturally responsive support services for seniors and families within our communities.
Many seniors live alone or with their children and experience social isolation, loneliness, and limited opportunities for meaningful engagement. Many African and Black seniors, as well as seniors from diverse cultural backgrounds, prefer to remain connected to their families, culture, language, and community rather than move into retirement or long-term care facilities.
That is why AmaniGardens provides a safe, welcoming, and culturally familiar environment where elders are honored, supported, and connected.
We believe every senior deserves dignity, companionship, purpose, and access to services that promote healthy and independent living.
